Documentary wedding films and photography by Thomas Crane — Portland, Oregon wedding videographer and photographer, travels anywhere

Films
Introduction
I am Thomas Crane, a photographer and filmmaker.
Before weddings, I worked in documentary and editorial work, where I learned to observe before directing. To follow feeling before structure.
Most wedding films look the same. Slow, dramatic, and without a real story. I decided to do things differently. I am after energy, atmosphere, and emotion. Not performances or trends, but the moments in between.
I take on around twelve weddings each year, giving every story the attention it deserves.
Because in thirty years, you won’t remember every detail. You’ll remember how it felt.
He was simply there, and somehow the film is all of us.
About
Thomas Crane
Ten years behind a camera — first in documentary, then editorial, now weddings. I work quietly, mostly unnoticed, and I would rather miss a posed shot than a real one.
I photograph and film every wedding myself, and I edit every frame myself. The person you meet on the first call is the one standing next to you on the day.
Named for the birds that mate for life.
Investment
